Get into Bancroft's summer spirit with live outdoor music, every Wednesday night at Millennium Park, starting at 7:00pm.
Set on the banks of the York River, Millennium Park is the premier outdoor venue for Mineral Capital Concerts.
The 2010 season kicks-off on June 23rd with a performance by Celtic favorites The Merry Micks and continues for the next ten weeks. This season will include a series of eclectic performances by artists such as Faron Brown Jr, TightRope, Sidewinder, Gordie Tentrees, Jazz masters - The Shuffle Demons and multi-Juno winner Stephen Fearing of Blackie and the Rodeo Kings fame. July 21st, 2010 | Stephen Fearing is long-established as a regular and popular fixture on the folk club and festival circuit in North America and the U.K. Successful appearances at the prestigious WOMAD and Reading Festivals in the U.K. confirmed Fearing’s ability to engage large audiences with his onstage charm. Gordie has toured relentlessly in North America, Europe and the UK, building an international buzz in the roots music world. He has opened for Fred Eaglesmith and Kelly Joe Phelps, shared stages with the D-Rangers, Rick Fines, Blackie & The Rodeo Kings, performed a CBC Saturday Night Blues concert, and showcased at North American Folk Alliance, Western Canadian Music Awards and South by Southwest.
June 23rd, 2010 | THE MERRY MICKS, a family based ensemble, is a local band that specializes in Irish Music. The group consists of brothers Tony and Paddy Fitzgerald, their sister Catherine Rull, Tony’s wife Judy, and their close friend and neighbour Gloria Leveque.
Lively antics on stage, coupled with their talented renditions of Irish and Canadian music, promise an enjoyable and memorable experience for any and all audiences.

August 11, 2010 | The Shuffle Demons have released 6 albums and 7 videos in their 23 year career. They played 1000s of shows at every major jazz and folk festival in Canada during 20 Canadian tours. July 14, 2010 | The Tightrope Band is a newer band that has been playing in the Quinte area since 2009. Originally three members, this Blues/Rock/Jazz trio has started to work their way up the musical ladder playing shows in Bancroft, Tweed, Madoc, Marmora and Belleville and the surrounding area.
Get set for a range of songs from artists such as Stevie Ray Vaughn, Buddy Guy, Robert Cray, Eric Clapton, Jimi Hendrix, Steely Dan, Bob Marley, Average White Band, Stevie Wonder, George Benson.
